Mr. Nice Guy

The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.
People don't keep journals for themselves. They keep them for other people, like a secret they don't want to tell, but want everyone to know.

^_^ The Simple Things Are Always The Best Things ^_^

Have you ever noticed that just the little things...the simplest of acts or little gifts, just seem to make your day? Someone saying "hello" to you or like a person buys you a candy bar because when they saw it, they thought of you because they know that it is your favorite. Some everyday thing like just talking with someone or seeing that special someone, even hearing their voice. Just those little things seem to make life worth living, ya know? Or at least just seems to make your day a whole lot better...even something as simple as a Good Night phone call... ^_^ *wink wink*

Hey, Time won't wait,
Life goes by,
Every day's a brand new sky,
Every tear, comes to dry.

All that really matters,
In this crazy world,
Is you and I together,
Baby just remember.

Chorus 1:
The first leaves off the tree,
The way you look at me,
A thousand chiming church bells ring,
The simple things are free
The sun, the moon, the stars,
The beating of two hearts,
How I love the simple things,
The simple things just are.

So here we go,
Let's just dance,
Teach my soul to take this chance,
Put my heart, in your hands.

Out of all the moments that,
We leave behind,
Turn around and tell me,
Baby we'll remember.

Chorus 2:
The thunder and the rain,
The way you say my name,
After all the clouds go by,
The simple things remain,
The sun, the moon, the stars,
The beating of two hearts,
How I love the way the simple things,
The simple things just are

Chorus 3:
The ocean and the sky,
The way we feel tonight,
I know that it's the love,
That brings the simple things to life,
The sun, the moon, the stars,
The beating of two hearts,
I love the way the simple things,
The simple things just are.

I love the way the simple things,
The simple things just are.
Simple things just are.
Simple things just are.

~*~Just Be Happy For The Times~*~

So after thinking and thinking about my situation for so long...I have decided. Fuck it. Just let things be and be thankful that you had those times and memories. Everything might not happen the way I want them to, but at least I can just think back and be happy for the times.

I spent a few hours at my official "thinking spot" and just kept thinking and reflecting upon everything that happened...about myself and how I am. I tend to give up on something when there is competition involved. If someone is taken, I back off. I do not want to be the person who ruins a relationship. Just stuff like that. Only this time, I don't want to give up. That is not me. That is not just letting things be...but there is also a saying about Fighting For What You Want. The way I see it, this one is worth it. Worth me going out of my comfort zone, and just going at it...full speed ahead. I might and probably will get burned, but if I don't the outcome will be worth everything that I would have gone through.

Okay, so honestly, it does hurt...and it will hurt if things go wrong, but at least I can finally say to myself and everyone...that I went for it...and I tried instead of saying things like I regret...or I let that one pass me by again. And besides, there are always the memories...so just be happy for the times.

Universal Studios: The World's Largest and Overpriced Movie Studio and Theme Park!

Today was a great day. I went out with Maria to Universal Studios. After so many plans not happening, this one was made sure not to fall through. I went to Knott's last week and she was suppose to go, but she had work, so this time we had planned everything beforehand like a week in advance. She had the day off,(Omar gave her the whole week off...how sad) and so did everyone else that went, Candy, Phuc, and me. There were some ups and downs, but the day was really fun and since she was there...it just made it a lot better. We rode the Curse of the Mummy. It was a cool ride...kind of short, but cool nonetheless. Jurassic Park was next, and it seemed like I was the only one to have gotten wet. After a quick lunch break eating Panda Express, we continued our fun-filled day at US. We saw a few shows like Shrek 4-D, Terminator, Waterworld, etc, and spent money up the wazoo. I spent $30 to win her a doll, but did not succeed. Phuc spent $25 and got two dolls. One for himself and one for Candy...gay!! Me and my non-basketball skills. *sigh* I found out something that kinda changed my day, but I just ignored it and tried to have fun regardless. All and all it was a great day. And I can honestly say that I like spending time with Maria...and that I like her as well...
